Okay, lots of pictures to share. You see above many decorations, the assembly of the "wall unit," AND a haircut Matt gave me tonight! Yes, you read that correctly. My hair was getting close to my waist line, and I had Matt give the big chop. :) I think he did a GREAT job! I feel a little more "teachery," as Erin would say.
We got our tree from Home Depot. It's a tallll 6-7 ft. Douglas fir. We have dubbed him Henry. :) He's all settled in the living room and slirping up water. Matt will string the lights tomorrow and then we'll hang ornaments. We'll be sure to post pictures after it's all decorated too. :)
The house is getting back in order after assembling the wall unit and switching out decor for Christmas. There's still some work to be done, but it's getting there. One of Matt's old Bible study friends, who actually caught the garter (the 2nd time), is stopping by tomorrow afternoon on his way home from Tampa. So now I REALLY need to finish picking everything up! Hopefully we'll see Uncle Randy tomorrow too. :) The wall unit assembly went very well--it took awhile--it had parts A through BB! In the picture of it completed, there was a tv show talking about new video games--Matt was not really playing that game at the moment (disclaimer since it looks like a particularly violent game ;)). You can also see a picture above that shows some of the disorder in the midst of assembling/decorating. :)
We hope you enjoy the pictures, and I'll be excited for you to see Matt's hair handiwork in person SOON when we come up for Christmas. I guess if you didn't see it in person to know how much he cut, it's not as big of deal. But it was about 3 inches (it's still wet in the pic). :)
Merry Christmas and lots of love,
Becca

Matt - if you don't end up liking your job replacing hips maybe you could go into styling for woman's hair!
The wall unit looks great! You did a fab job picking it out and putting it together!
Love the entertainment center!!! Good team work guys!
Wow! Your entertainment center looks really nice. It looks like that must have been a complicated one to assemble.
