Another First

Our first Christmas and Christmas letter. Yesterday I started decorating for Christmas. It's been very fun. :) We have a pre-lit (woo hoo) garland around our bannister and our fiber-optic snowman at the bottom of the stairs. :) The Christmas duck is next to the new entertainment center (pictures up soon!! It's almost done!). I've had a lot of fun going around and switching things out for Christmas decorations. We'll upload some pictures of the house decorated too. :) Tonight we hope to get a Christmas tree-they're actually reasonable in Florida!! Hooray! So far the best price we've found is Home Depot, so that's where we're headed.

I just finished printing our Christmas letter. It was fun to write it and choose pictures for it. :) Now I just need Matt to sign them and I can stuff them into the cards I already wrote on. Then I can address the envelopes (currently they have the recipients' names, but not addresses), stamp them with our Christmas cookie stamps, and send them on their way! I'm also almost finished with wedding thank yous. It's been fun to write them and think about the thoughtfulness and generosity of our family and friends. Their kindness surrounds in our home with gifts they (you) have lovingly given.

We will be back, hopefully by tonight, with before/during/after wall unit construction pictures, tree pictures, and decorated house pictures. Yippee! :)
