In other news, tonight was the holiday performance for all the third graders at my school. They did a tremendous job! I was so proud of them, and you could definitely tell their parents were proud of them. :) Matt came too, and my class was so excited to meet him. "Mr. Kubo" handed out their costumes for me (school t-shirts and Santa hats). Then Matt told me he wanted to make tonight a date night. We've been so busy, I don't know when we last had an official "date night," much less went OUT for one. We ended up at Olive Garden and had an amazing waiter. Matt even asked to speak to his manager to pass on the compliment. We were very impressed. :)

I am really excited that tomorrow is Friday, and that means it's almost the weekend. I am really excited that my kids received awesome scores on the practice FCAT in November, I am really excited they earned awesome scores on the decimals test and that we are trucking through patterns and probability. I am really excited it's almost the weekend. I am really excited I have only 2 students on whom I'm waiting to complete all necessary field trip forms. I'm really excited it's almost the weekend. I am really excited our house Christmas decorations are up and our Christmas cards should be delivered any day now. I'm really excited I got to use my Scholastic bonus points to order the express shipping to try to get my class' order here before Christmas break. I am really excited that a week from tomorrow is the last day before Christmas break. I'm really excited it's almost the weekend (have you noticed a trend?). :)

I guess that's ABOUT it for now. Only 6 days of school til Christmas break! Oh yeah, and tomorrow I'm taking the pictures for our hopefully really cool holiday project. :) I hope they turn out well!
