Feel the Ocean Breeze

Well, I am at the beach right now with part of the fam. Matt and I drove up to Edisto Beach, SC on Saturday to meet part of my family. He had to return home Sunday afternoon, but we still got in a trip to the beach and pool before he had to go. I miss him though! Tomorrow those of us who are still here are making a day trip to Charleston. I'll probably return home on Wednesday.

It's been great to relax and have a break from painting and all the "usual" household duties. I know I'll have ironing calling my name when I get home, but at least the clothes are clean. :)

It's also been a blessing to see family. We are planning to be in Knoxville again the beginning of August (I can't wait!!). The amount of time is still to be determined. I'm trying to get there in time for a wedding shower, but we're waiting to see what Matt's work schedule looks like. I missed one wedding back home this weekend and really don't want to miss the other in August. Then we have 2 weddings in October (Michigan and Nevada) and one early next year for Kerry. Whew!

I just wanted to check in and let you know what we're up to. I'll update when I get home too, complete with pictures. :)
