Charis would have happily spent ours pumping her little shovel up and in, in and out of the sand in her bucket. It was so sweet!! It looked like she was churning butter. :) hehe When she first touched the sand, she completely pulled back. Brad was holding her and she held her legs straight out in front of her, parallel to the sand. Brad reassured her and got her to touch it with her hands. Before we knew it, she was a beach baby through and through. :)

She LOOVED the water!! At one point, she took off from her bucket of sand and crawled really fast toward the waves. Joy caught up to her and said Charis was grunting from being so excited and laughing over thinking she snuck away. :)
