You know that battery I said died? My sweet husband drove to Walmart, bought a new battery, and installed it all in the cold and dark (except for a flashlight--Thanks, Tyson--held by his lovely assistant/wife). The car STILL wouldn't budge. Not any kind of attempt to turn over. We were so bummed... that meant it was the starter--stink! And no Papa Bear to fix it for us (TN Guilfords are spoiled). :) Matt was SO sweet when he came to tell me my car still wouldn't start. We had a plan to get us to work and were staying calm. My dad had one final suggestion to try that would confirm it was the starter. Well, what he thought might happen didn't happen, so it left things suspicious but inconclusive. I called to tell him that, and all the sudden a lightbulb went off. He asked me what gear the car was in. It's not SUPPOSED to let you take the key out if it's not in par, but we found a recall last summer that Ace's (my car) make and model will sometimes let you remove the car even if it's not in park. Sure enough, the car was in drive. Matt moved the shifter to park, and IT STARTED RIGHT UP!! So, now it has a somewhat-unnecessary new battery, but the old one was the factory battery and therefore 5 years old, so it would have needed a new one sometime anyway. Ace is purring like a kitten and we are grinning like the chesire cat. :)
Praise the Lord for His grace and mercy in simple solutions (and Dad's who think things through down to the easiest answer)!
We love you!

Catchy title...I just now got it after staring at it for a few minutes. I'm glad that it wasn't the started. Although I really don't know what that means...:)...something simple or not so much? ;) Anyway...whatever it was I'm glad that you just needed to put the car into park. I've done that a couple of times...stop the engine and it's still in drive. Only I can't get my key out of the ignition when I do that. :) Which you aren't supposed to be able to do right? I'm so brain dead right now. I wish I could talk to you now. :) I'll talk to you later.
I thought your mom said "Kubos to Matt..." haha like a pun or playon words or whatever. :) I thought that was funny...than I ready it and it said "Kudos." Boy I must be tired. I'm turning my letters around.
