"Mrs. Kubo, did you teach my brother?"
"Is he in Mrs. Womack's class?"
"Yes."
"Yes I did."
"He said you're mean."
"Well, I expect you to follow the rules, but I don't think that makes me mean."
"Neither do I."
"Then I think you'll be fine."
And my "reputation" continues to preceed me.
-Everyday this week when I have gone to the office to sign in with the teachers (as opposed to filling out a substitute form), I have looked for "Rebecca Guilford" before I remember to look for "Rebecca Kubo." It's so weird!

I am so proud of you and how you stick to your rules. I would have kids running all over me by now. You are a GREAT teacher and I am so excited for your very own classroom! What a blessing! Love you lots!
That is SO cute! I love their definition of mean! ;) Lucky for me, I have a teacher next door that's more strict than I am so I'm not considered "mean." ;)
Wait was this in "your room" or a sub place? Are you totally excited about getting your own kids?! AHHH! I'm so excited for you!
Yeah, Becca. When I see you the first word that comes to mind is "mean" (lol).
