We made it home, safe and sound, and in just about 8.5 hours (haven't made it in THAT time since maybe our first ever trip down to look for an apartment)! We got Sammy, and while she seems very sleepy, she is doing well. She spent most of the evening curled up on her pillow under the counter with a new-found stick at her side--there have been some major zzzzzs going on. :)
Matt unloaded the car, we got a pizza for dinner, the house is in good shape, we pretty much just got junk mail while we were gone, and we still have a long weekend ahead of us! Yippee!
We are off to bed, but I wanted to let you know we we're back in our FL home. :)
