Happy Anniversary..... to US!!!

Monday is our second anniversary. I can't believe it's already been two years (and yet it seems like a lot longer than that... in a really GOOD way).

We are planning to return to where we spent our honeymoon in February (when I have a long weekend). In the meantime, we still wanted to celebrate.

After lots of talking and thinking and internet research, we have decided on a fun night tonight here in town (dinner and a movie) and going away for a night tomorrow. At first we were looking at Tampa, but then I found some options in Orlando. As touristy as it is, that is in our favor as far as hotel rates. I thought about priceline-ing it, but we wanted to pick which hotel we stay in. We settled on the Buena Vista Palace Resort and Spa. It was just renovated and has REALLY HIGH ratings on every site we checked. Here's a picture of one of the newly decorated rooms...

Down pillows and duvet, flat screen tv (you know Matt likes the sound of that), etc. It is right by Downtown Disney, so we'll be able to see the Downtown Disney fireworks tomorrow night (!!) and maybe Epcot's fireworks, too!! The grounds look beautiful, and we are really excited. :) Sammy is all taken care of and accounted for, too. It should be great!

We will be sure to take lots of pictures. Universal Studios has offered Florida teachers a free pass through the end of the year, so we might go to Universal while we're down there.
