After searching the archives, I'm honored to be the first recipient of an official "shout out." Yes, some have been mentioned; others written about fondly; yet none have been bestowed an official "shout out."
I've lurked many evenings recently looking for an updated post, only to find none. I've taken this as a sure sign that you've been ridiculously busy, making your first post back a personal shout out to me that much more significant.
I shall carry your shout with me as I travel to hostile territory tomorrow (also your adopted state). As I face the tasks before me on my journey, I'll take comfort in knowing that you've lived, ney, thrived there for more than a year. Your perseverance will give me strength to endure a week near the epicenter of the gator nation.
Alright, more seriously, I really appreciate you guys thinking of me. I often think of you, and I was just daydreaming the other day how fun it will be to introduce my son to the two of you. What a lucky kid!
If we're not in the same city, I can see him crawling up in my lap in front of the computer to get an update on what Uncle Matt and Aunt Becca are up to. Maybe he can even practice his reading on your blog. In any case, he'll look good doing it, thanks to a certain pair of stylish board shorts he's received.

LOL, yup! Baby boy Guilford is due the end of January. :) From what I hear, a wonderful nursery got its start last weekend with paint and some father-to-be and grandfather-to-be-again assistance with baby furniture. :) Now we'll have a niece AND a nephew! They just need to move to Florida so we can see them more. :)
I am sure that Charis at least will want to move to FL as soon as she is old enough to know about the Magical Kingdom not to far from you! :) Just you wait Auntie Becca when your nieces and nephews are old enough you will not be able to keep them away! You and Matt are too fun and live a little to close to Disney not to have a few little visitors appear!
