Let's take a look around the house for Sammy....
Is she.... here?

No, but we can see she's been here (she scratched until she removed the cheap finish off the laundry room door.... I wanted white doors anyway).
Is she...... here?

No, but she did try to take a bite out of this lunch box (sorry, Judi!)
Is she..... HERE?

No, but there's her puppy shampoo.
Is she..... here?

No, but there's the new trashcan *with a lid* we had to buy because she kept pulling things out of the trash.
Where could she be? Is she..... here?

No, but there's the quarer-round she chewed (until it was sprayed with Bitter Apple)
She must be..... here!

No, but there's the floorboard just around the corner that she tried to re-structure (I think she went through 2 coats of paint down to the wood. At least I hadn't re-painted that trim yet).
Whew! She HAS to be here!

Nope. But there's some string from our re-upholstered chairs she pulled.
Surely she's..... here!

No, not here! But it sure looks like she's been here (bottom of chair).
Come on... she's gotta be here!

Still not here, but she definitely left her mark.
Where oh where could this chewy little mischievous puppy be???
Aha! I found her!

(No, she's not being punished. I took this at bed time. At first I thought something was terribly wrong with the angle of her neck. Then I realized.... we just have a weird sleeper).
So, you can see what Sammy has been up to the past few days. :) And you can probably imagine what we've been up to (chasing after her and coating everything in sight with Bitter Apple). :)
LOVE you!

Ahhh, yes...bitter apple. Wes and I are quite familiar with that product. It does surprisingly work. We also had to get the lidded trash can. The first year we had Charlie, he tore up some sprinkler heads and tried to get into the air conditioner wiring outside the house we were renting. We were quite afraid of the damage he was going to do to that place! Thankfully, he rarely chews things up now. But he does sometimes eat odd things...like an entire canteloup (skin and all) that was on the counter overnight, almost an entire loaf of sandwich bread, a disposable razor (our most scary incident) and most recently, my bar of Cetaphil facial soap! That one made him a little sick. But he's good most of the time ;), and very worth the minor inconveniences!!
I hope Sammy will get through the teething phase quickly for your sake :).
