I returned this afternoon from an INCREDIBLE vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort with Erin! :)
We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and from our balcony we could see giraffes, zebras, and other "savannah" animals! It was so cool!
On Tuesday night, we went to Epcot and had reservations at a restaurant in "Italy." Then we walked around, talking and taking pictures, and took advantage of the extra magic hours (if you are staying at a resort hotel, you can stay past closing a couple hours at a different park each night). On Wednesday, we did the Magic Kingdom for 14 hours straight! We started with a character breakfast at the Crystal Palace and ended with Erin's friends from her Disneyland college program stint (who now work at WDW). I also rode Space Mountain for the very first time. On Thursday we did MGM Studios and had dinner reservations at Narcoosee's (I'll have to check on that spelling) at the Grand Floridian resort. It was delectable. :) This morning after we checked out, we perused the Animal Kingdom, including the Festival of the Lion King show. :) It was absolutely a-MAZ-ing to be at WDW for that long with someone who loves Disney so much! It was SO much fun, and I'm SOO thankful and glad we got to do it. :)
I also missed my husband--a LOT! I'll be a little surprised if he lets me go off without out anytime in the near future. :) He survived, though he almost broke out in song when I called to tell him I was back at our house this afternoon. :) We had many phone conversations while I was gone, too, so we kept in touch. I miss Erin already, but I am also glad to be back with my hubby! He is cooking me dinner tonight, AND he came home with roses for me! Wow! He is the best!
Here are some pictures. Later I'll post some more and some of the goodies I got at WDW. :)
Much LOVE and updated blogs,
Becca :)

So glad you had fun fun fun!!!
We loved the Animal Kingdom when we went for 1 (added on) day with Nana over spring break. Lion King was awesome wasn't it??? Kylan was having trouble waiting in line so they took us in the back way and we sat on the front row for the Lion King show. The monkeys kept running by and picking things out of his hair. We loved it. He was all smiles. He also liked the safari with the nile crocodiles. Felt like Africa! Will have to stay at the AK Lodge next time. Looks wonderful.
Good to hear from you via blog and keep up with the Kubo goings ons.
Congrats on the house. It looks fantastic since you've done so much work.
