Here are some "before" (previous owner), "during" (painting, moving in), and "after" (paint, carpet, and furniture in place) pictures. Wall hangings and such that make a house even more like "home" are still to come. :) But this will give you an idea!

my master closet "after" (Dad removed shelves--see photo near end of post--and installed rods!)

Dining room before (milky pea green walls, green/beige china cabinet)

master bedroom before

the space around the corner from the foyer that I'm not sure what to do with :)

living room before

box room after :)

front door after (the door needs to be touched up--it appears to have been scratched in their move out)

den after (where I'm sitting right now!)

dining room after (cabinet needs another coat of white/glass panes cleaned)

master bedroom after (Matt's closet to the left, mine to the right, my dresser and bathroom to the right)

half of living room, after

guest room after

other half of living room, after

dining room "during" (kilz on left wall, kilz being painted with wall color in center)

laundry room/pantry after (and the clothes rod Dad installed!!)

thermometer in back yard, mounted to palm tree with ferns growing all over trunk (and 100 degrees F)

den "during" (the furniture "holding" room until carpet was installed)

pantry before

backyard during (hacking out the bushes)

carpet before (YUCK!!)

living room "during" (with blanket to protect from icky carpet)

Matt's master closet before (what is up with that paint??)

guest room "during" (floor protection provided by Jackie's tarp--it's not protecting the carpet from paint, it's protecting matresses from the carpet!)

my master closet "before"

master bedroom before (GROSS!)

The transformation is looking GREAT! You guys are doing a super job! Way to go! Don't forget to sleep some also. :) Thanks for sharing the pics.
Becca, your parents mentioned that you have a random circuit breaker box in your hallway...I have seen a lot of people hang pictures over them to disguise them or you can even hang a small tapestry over it. I just thought that I would share. :) Love ya!
Thanks, Joy! I planned to hang a picture over it. :) The termite inspector even put his sticker on the OUTSIDE of the breaker. %-) Also, I WILL call you tomorrow afternoon to return your call. I can't wait to talk to you!!! :)
Love,
me
p.s. It should be reasonably early in the day, because I can leave anytime after the kids are gone--12:30! :)
looks amazing! more later.
