Moving!

Well, it is CRUNCH time with the move!

We have receipts from the seller for both items we requested him to repair (to prove it was done). The A/C needed a new thermostat and the pipe apparently had a clog. We are told they are good as new (and will check it out ourselves at the walk through).

Now it's packing time! Matt brought home several boxes from Exactech. We're headed out shortly in an attmept to scrounge up some more and to buy some newspapers (instead of the more expensive Sunday paper tomorrow) for wrapping dishes, etc. So far I have almost all of our books boxed, lots of knick knacks, our linens, most wall hangings, movies, and the master bedroom window treatment. We still have rubber stamps, kitchen, and other odds and ends. We're trying to get a move on so we can move OUT!

I also worked on switching utilities and other details yesterday. I got us set up with Cox cable--be looking for an email with our new email address before too long. I tried to switch our phone online, but the website said I'd have to finish it out online--that's fine. I'll do it Monday. I researched trash pick up--not sure if we're county or city (I know, I know, important to find out). I went by our leasing office to talk about our walkthrough here--we can do it the afternoon of the 31st. The lady was really nice. I also talked to U-Haul about getting a truck for Saturday. So, I still need to: cancel cable at apt., switch GRU utilities, move phone service to new house, set up trash at new house, confirm U-Haul on Tuesday, turn in change of mailing address form, and confirm the beginning of insurance at the new house.

Matt's about ready to go out, so I should close for now. Do you like the new look? I've been looking for awhile for a new template. I think I like this one. I had fun this morning learning to tweak it to our tastes. :)
