The Buzz

Here's a little update from our neck of the woods....

Matt cut my hair this morning! It wasn't curling like it should/can, and I figured length and grown out layers were the culprits. He trimmed it up, I added layers, and oila! Here you have it! :) This is natural drying--only a little anti-frizz lotion, no diffuser or anything (you can see it actually could have used a little more anti-frizz in the back; the joys of FL living).


We also ordered our new carpet today! We are getting it from Georgia Carpet Outlet. It's GREAT quality, GREAT price, and they're installing it the day after Memorial Day. We are very excited! The carpet at the house isn't too old, but it has some stains from the resident college students who were in it and one tenant smoked. We want to clear out any smoke smells. We can't wait to post pictures as the house makes its transformation! :)

Lastly, Matt renewed (not that he ever lost it) his "hero" status today, because he found Tuesday Morning! I have looked for it numerous times in its indicated shopping center (there's a sign at the entrance to the shopping center for it, and the website said it was in that center). I felt like I was going crazy! So, Matt helped me look around for it on our way home from the carpet place. Sure enough, he found it--it was around back. I am thrilled. I love looking around in Tuesday Morning; you never know what you'll find. And since garage sales around here (other than the ones the weekend of Auntie Carole's) have been so-so, it's nice to know we can look for housewares at a fun place like Tuesday Morning and look for a good deal.

That is about it for now! We wish our mother's a very happy Mother's Day :), and we are so glad JOY had a very happy birthday on Thursday!!! :) We love you very much!!
