Thursday/Friday!

Not too much to report here... except tomorrow is THURSDAY/FRIDAY for me!! I am SO excited! I have a parent conference during my "late" hours, but other than that I'll just be planning and entering grades! My kids took their first end of story test in the new book on our fast-paced track, and everyone passed! :) Woo hoo!! I am proud of them and ready to keep tracking along. I know the amount I have to cover in the time I have to cover it is a challenge (there was a little snag in moving on), but I am determined to do whatever it takes to accomplish that. Lord willing, we'll get through it all and they'll learn it within our confines. It would feel like SUCH an accomplishment if/when God helps us get through it!!

Matt's work days are going fine, also. Lots of people are away at conferences this week, so things are pretty quiet around the office and he's working, working, working. We are having some people over for dinner on Friday--our first time having people over for dinner. Matt's had people over to play Xbox before, and we had my parents visit, of course. :) And we fed them while they were here. :) But for the purpose of having dinner together and hanging out, it's a first for us. We are looking forward to it. :)

I took pictures of Matt's new shirts--I'll try to post those soon! I'm hoping to do some stamping on Friday and organize for some scrapbooking too! That would be so FUN and relaxing. I might browse some stores too, but I am SO excited to have access to Knoxville shopping starting next week. I never thought Knoxville would seem like THE place to shop. Let me tell you, you learn to appreciate all sorts of things when you move to a little town in agriculturally based northern Florida where we live within 5 minutes of the interstate and pass dirt roads between here and there, as well as 5 minutes on the other side of the interstate! Is the new Pottery Barn open yet in the mall???? Turkey Creek shopping center and West Town Mall never sounded so good. :)

Matt just did our dishes, so we're off to chill again. Have a good evening--and stay warm. Or better yet, come visit US where it's warm! :)

Love and blessings,
Becca

Okay, I live here and do not know about the Pottery Barn in the mall!!! Where is it going in? Are you sure...PB in our mall? CRAZY! We really do live in a "BIG" city!

Becca, I hope that you have a WONDERFUL day off! Stamp and scrapbook for me!!! :)

All right! I googled it and we really are getting a PB! You people are incredible at keeping secrets!!! It should be in by late spring and it is going where the old B. Dalton was so it will be a little small. How exciting though! I think that the fact that it is exciting proves still that we live in a small town. I just LOVE google! Now, no more keeping secrets from me! :)

Christy, I am right there with you! Lets just hope that we do not get a PB Kids! That would be double the danger!
