FINALLY!!

After a "dropping of the ball" on the part of UT and a subsequent "picking up" of the ball they dropped, Matt's Master's degree arrived in the mail today!!!! I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw the big orange and white tube. :) I can't WAIT for him to come home and see it in our mail stack. He will be SOO happy and surprised! He finished all the course requirements last spring and defended his thesis last summer, but some paperwork that was to be filed by his department was not, in fact, filed by his department. So, he should have been a summer grad, but he's now technically a fall grad. All that matters is, HE'S A GRADUATE SCHOOL GRADUATE! I am SOOOO proud of him and ALL the hours upon hours and days upon days of 20 hour work days he poured into his work and the integrity with which he completed it. He was (and still is) so whole-hearted, and we praise God for the blessing of allowing Matt to earn his M.S. God has accomplished so much in and through Matt, and I am amazed to get to be a part of it. :) I'm not sure I could be a much prouder wife. :)

Congratulations, honey!! I love you, and I am so proud of you!!! To God be the glory, GREAT things He has done!

p.s. pictures of him with his degree and our meeting/engagement story to come, because I am on a looong 5 day weekend! One plus for Florida school systems--"storm" days. :) If you don't use them during hurricane season, you get them off. :)
