Money, Money, Money!

I got paid!!! I checked our bank account Friday around noon, and my substitute pay had not been deposited yet. I was a sad, little Becca. I was SO excited for my first "real" from a school system paycheck--and it wasn't there! Then I started worrying about, "What if I wrote the routing and account number wrong for direct deposit?" I consoled myself with the fact that I had to include a voided check with the direct deposit forms, so they should have double checked everything. Then Matt consoled me by telling me it would all get sorted out. :) Well, today I checked on a whim, and there is was!!!! Woo hoo!! Thank you, Lord, for the blessing of this job and substituting in the meantime. Thank you for a profession to which I feel so called and blessed, and for the blessing of compensation for doing it. :)

Today's "to dos" include some housework, Matt's doing some Christmas shopping (yea!), and we have a picture to hang. We also had a very "gourmet" lunch of spaghetti-o's (for Matt), grilled cheese sandwiches (both of us), and left over stew (me), after church. :) I also found the wall hanging I was looking for. Apparently I moved it to the cedar chest when I rearranged the linen closet. :) I am very excited to hang it!
