Toto too!

My birthday was quite the celebration. :) The title of this entry has to do with one of my gifts. Brad and Joy (& Charis, I imagine) gave me an iTunes gift certificate, to go along with the iPod Matt gave me on our honeymoon. We downloaded a Rascal Flatts song Matt really likes (and I like it too :) ) called "Bless the Broken Road." It was on a suggested song list for the wedding, although I honestly don't remember if I heard it or not at the reception. :) Too many other things to do and people to see (and a husband to kiss and dance with)! Anyway, back to the story... We also got "Home" by Michael Buble, and then I tried to get the cool, Hawaiian sounding version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" that is admittedly now uber-trendy to use in soundtracks and stuff. It's still a fun version.

Well, our internet frizzled while it was in the middle of downloading. I was slightly crestfallen that I spent 99 whole cents of my gift certificate on a song I didn't get to finish downloading. I searched the iTunes music store support site, and it directed me to a nifty little way to get iTunes to finish downloading a song you have purchased if something interrupts the download. Before I knew it, I was listening to my "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"!! Hooray and praise the Lord!!

Now I'm downloading "Popular," the song I currently have set as my ringer. It's from the musical Wicked, which is a Wizard of Oz story continuation (prequel). So, basically this whole entry is about Oz, which Joy would really like.
