Extra! Extra!

Just so you know, we have added 2 links to the sidebar on the right. There is now a link to the school where Becca will be teaching (and she has her first subbing job there tomorrow in 5th grade)! There is also a link to Brad & Joy's website with their blogs and pictures of Charis. :) It's not to be missed! ;) I also changed the settings on our blog here so that anyone can leave a comment. Just choose "anonymous" and you can leave a comment without a screenname or password. But we'd still love to know who you were, if you'd sign your name at the end of the comment. :)

I found out I am subbing tomorrow and Tuesday for 5th graders, and 1st graders the first week of December. I'll overlap with the teacher I am replacing the middle of December, and then I have my very first classroom after Christmas break!

Today I got a Florida driver's license... sorry for being a traitor, but I am NOT a gator... no worries. ;) I tried to change my social security card to Kubo, but there were SO many people there, if I continued to wait, I would have missed my driver's license appointment. Yes, in the great state of Florida, you can make an appointment at the DMV!! How cool is that? I also encountered the nicest DMV people I've encountered to date.

Lastly, I had lunch today with one of Matt' s coworkers and her sweet daughter. We went to a little place really close to our house. She thought I was 26! Woo hoo! I don't want to wish away my years, but the only thing that grants me "20 something" status by most people who don't know me is my engagement and wedding rings. When I was shopping for wedding jewelry, the sales lady thought I was shopping for prom. Nuff said. So, I was glad I'm finally looking old enough to drive, much less be married! :)

Now I'm waiting waiting waiting for my husband to return from work. :) Will 5:30 ever come? :)
