Matt and Ariana gave me Photoshop Elements 5.0 (I had 2.0) and a cool book of tips and tricks for Christmas. I installed it shortly after we got home from our Christmas travels, but I had some time this afternoon to actually play around with it. Here's a little bit of what I did! Now if I can only find my cdr of saved pictures to keep playing! :)
burned out the top left corner so it's all black, made Samuel's eyes "sparkle" extra :)
blurred out everything bu Samuel, then dodged the left-hand side
added some vignetting around Miss Charis :)
again with the vignetting :)
burned everything except Gpa's hand and Charis
removed color from everything except the chairs and umbrella(from our honeymoon)
made it look like a snapshot :)

SUPER COOL! I wanted some wedding pics w/black and white but a fleck of color! i so want to get this program! you did an amazing job playing with those pictures

When I hooked you up with the software and book, I didn't know you were going to get better than me! These are outstanding. The honeymoon pic is NIIIIIIICE.
