A New Week

Here I am, a new week, and almost all better! I went back to work last Thursday and Friday. I was still kind of dragging, but my only remaining symptoms were the residual congestion and asthma cough I often end up with after a bug. Nothing I can pass on to my class, so back to work I went. It was SOO good to be back, and I was greeted quite sweetly by my kiddos. :)

Matt finally got home around 8:45 Saturday night. He had a lay-over in Atlanta, and I admit I was jealous--he was closer to my family than to me at that point! But he made it! :) We had a medium-busy Sunday, and I guess it's only Tuesday now. Yesterday we both worked (and had good days, a praise) and then went to the grocery store after dinner. Matt doesn't usually go with me, but still feeling a little tired from the cough and such, I didn't really want to go by myself. I think he's excited about the dinners we picked for this week, so that will give me a little extra motivation. :) We also found some great steak $2.00 off/lb. on sale. So we got a big one to split for Valentine's Day. :) I also mailed some bills and FINALLY sent E the gift we got her and A for Christmas--we wanted you to stay in a festive state of mind until... February. Yeah, that's it. ;) I hope it gets there soon!

Today is a normal day (I'm on my lunch right now). I'm excited about some writing and science we're doing after P.E. And my new reading centers seem to be going smoothly. Although, I have a couple out today and only had 10 in my reading groups this morning! That certainly helps things run smoothly. :)

I've gotta run--time to go to P.E. But we hope your week is off to a good start!
